Konstantin Volostnov's fourth compact disc is published. The album, which has been recorded on the organ of the Catholic Cathedral in Moscow, contains compositions by Bach, Mozart and Franck.

Konstantin Volostnov is the winner of the 25th International Organ Competition at St Albans, which took place on July 9-18th, 2009.


Prizes:
First prize (Sponsored by the Williams School of Church Music)
Peter Hurford Prize (For the best performance of J.S.Bach)
Prize for the best performance of Sacrificium, commissioned work by John Casken
Audience Prize

Plus recital engagements at venues which will include:
St Albans Cathedral; St Bavo, Haarlem; Chartres Cathedral;
King’s College, Cambridge and St John’s Smith Square, London.



Representation by Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists in the USA for one season and a solo recording to be made by Priory Records in their Great European Organs series.
